Landy and Defence to 1NT
This topic covers how, what and when to bid after the opponents have opened 1NT. It includes doubling, overcalling and the convention of Landy. An opening one no-trump comes up very frequently, so this is a “must” for all bridge players! There is also some revision of the use of Stayman after the opening one no trump, and what to do as the opening side after interference. Hopefully it will eliminate your partner sitting pondering whether that double is for penalties or take out. There will be plenty of practice hands to help reinforce the teaching, making it both extremely informative and useful. As always, this will be a fun learning experience and a chance to meet old friends and make new ones.
